This time was different because MY daughter Andrea was the bride. On a beautiful Saturday in February, Ben and Andrea were married at The Pinery in Black Forest. It is such a special time when it is your own family, and I would describe the wedding as magical. My daughter was beaming and so was my new son. The décor was simple, but elegant; metallic tones representing 15, 25 and 50 years with candles sparkling everywhere. The cake was gluten free and spectacular; a gift from Hillary at Posh Pastries of Parker. Andrea is a pastry chef and her friend and mentor blessed her with the cake. DELICIOUS. There was much to eat and drink, but the highlights were dancing and a blast at the photo booth! Ben and Andrea wanted the evening to be warm and fun, a night to remember. It sounds like we accomplished that—much to our delight. It was a night that we will always remember with much gratitude and fondness. Grateful to have been surrounded by so many friends and family that love Andrea and Ben, fondly, because that beautiful girl is my daughter, and it was lovely.
