Lisa Austin, wife of a retired military officer and mother of five, is finally opening her doors to offer wedding and event designing, a passion of hers. A native Coloradoan, Lisa and her husband were stationed at the Air Force Academy for four years and then settled in Monument, where they have lived since 1996. Having such deep roots in central Colorado ensures that Lisa is a great resource for planning and designing a whole host of other events such as weddings, squadron parties, graduation, retirement events and especially holiday celebrations. Life goes by so quickly and Lisa believes that celebrations marking those moments are absolutely vital!
While Lisa’s daughter was studying to become a pastry chef and event manager, Lisa realized her love for coordinating the various aspects of special events and decided to join her daughter on the road to event planning. While she is not the spectacular pastry chef that her daughter is, Lisa is gifted in designing and organizing all kinds of events, and it certainly helps that she happens to know someone who makes a killer cake!
Lisa attended UCCS in conjunction with The Wedding Planning Institute, a nationally accredited wedding and event planning institute; she is a certified wedding and event planner. Lisa is also well connected with other planners and vendors in the area, and enjoys keeping up with the new and exciting trends in weddings and other events.
